I love life because there will always be a situation u think u will never get over and u always do every time

it's alright to find it difficult to be kind to yourself. it is difficult. especially if you've spent most of your life treating yourself differently.

but the fact that you're trying at all is so great. you can't expect to change the way you think about yourself overnight but each time you practice self compassion or stop yourself thinking something unkind about yourself you are getting some step closer to where you are trying to be.

life doesn’t end at 25. life doesn’t end at 27 or 30 either. life doesn’t end at 35 or 45. life doesn’t end at 65. it doesn’t matter how old you are, when you decide to get your high school degree or start a family. it doesn’t matter when you decide to go run a marathon or go travel the world. life is not made up by numbers, age is, and your age is not all that you are. you got time. life doesn’t end until it ends.

i promise there is so much love in the world for you. i promise there are so many good things that will come into your life. i promise things won't always feel like they're falling apart, and they won't always feel like they're ending. i promise i promise i promise, there is happiness and love to be found, this life is worth it.

many of us still are in the process of learning to stop associating positivity with happiness and peace with control. you can have a positive mindset and be a positive person and still experience negative emotions like sadness or frustration, and you can be at peace without knowing exactly what happens next in your life. you are not failing because you cry sometimes or because you tend to get angry, and you are not inable to be at peace because you don’t know what happens next. live in the moment and do what you can and feel what you feel, that’s all you have to do.

a reminder that you can be alone, due to circumstances, insecurities, or simply people you didn’t match well with, but that doesn’t mean you’re unlovable. you can feel like the most unappealing person in the world, but to others you’re still lovable. you’re lovable whether you have a hundred friends or none. you’re lovable when you feel loved, and when you feel isolated and alone. it’s a part of you that will never change. even when there’s no one is around to tell you, even when looking back on your life tells you otherwise. you’re still lovable.

How to love yourself

• take up space like you’re meant to be here. don’t hide yourself or disappear. you’re not a waste of space. anyone who says so does not have the right.
• when you see yourself in the mirror, don’t avoid your gaze. see yourself the way a friend would. see the stories in your imperfections. things that should stay hidden to one can be endearing and special to another. be the another for yourself.
• as Mary Oliver said, you do not have to be good. you only need to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves. you are not a object to be measured daily and ruthlessly compared. you’re your own star among billions, but those who see you will appreciate your light. 
• unconditional acceptance and forgiveness of everything you’ve ever done. 
• never expect so much of yourself that you’re always falling short. It’s impossible to live this way and love yourself. starting somewhere is brave. small achievements can mean the most.
• never let your self worth fall into someone else’s hands, especially if you love them. your worth is inherent and everlasting, and isn’t so mutable that someone can come along and alter it.
• find your inner child, and love them more than you’ve loved anyone else. let yourself cry, let yourself explore, let yourself make mistakes, let yourself play. you need to grant yourself this freedom. no one else will.
• be the best friend, comfort or therapist you’ve always needed. when you’re awake at midnight with no one to confide in, be there for yourself. you will always be there for you. 
• give yourself more chances. to start again, to try again, to love again, to open up again. your past doesn’t have to be painted on you forever. you can start again, whenever you please.

to lovely humans who were excluded from invitations, left behind when they tied their shoes, forced to walk in the grass when the sidewalk was full, spoken over when you tried to contribute, whispered about or laughed at, given the side eye when you tried to fit in... you are so worthy of love and I’m sorry people have convinced you otherwise. I promise that your people are out there - people who will see the side of you others ignore, people who share weird inside jokes with you, give you affectionate nicknames and go to museums or roadtrips with you and fulfil whatever idea of friendship you’ve always fantasized about. even if you feel like an empty shell of your former self because you’ve hidden yourself away due to shame, this exterior will melt when you accept yourself or let people in and you’ll realize there was nothing wrong with you all along. you have interesting things to say, you deserve new chances and beginnings, your heart is probably made of gold because you know what it’s like to be left out in the cold, and you have so much to give. you are so worthy and someone’s idea of a friend too, and I hope you receive lots of hugs in the future from yourself and others because you’re so lovable.
